Sweet Cheeks Bakery will be honored to create your customized wedding cake.  This page provides cake options, pricing and general information about our cakes and our services.  Wedding Cake Menu

  • Base prices are for cakes frosted in buttercream icing. 
  • A basic cake for 100 people is $400.00 
  • Wedding cakes start at $4.00 per serving for the basics.  This includes basic cake flavors, basic cake frostings, and simple borders and decoration.  Additional charges will apply for multiple flowers, special decoration, intricate artwork, edible images and other complex decorations.





Wedding Cake Information

Reserving the Date:  A $100 non-refundable, non-transferable deposit is REQUIRED to book a date on our calendar.   The remainder of the balance is due in full two weeks prior to your wedding. No desserts will be delivered if payment is not received and cleared.

Payments:  Payments may be made by cash or credit card.

Alteration to orders:  Any alterations to the original order must be confirmed in writing and may be subject to an additional charge.  Late changes to orders are often possible and every effort will be made up to two weeks to accommodate changes, but this cannot be guaranteed. Changes of dates, may incur additional charges.

Cancellation of orders:  In the event of cancellation, work already completed is chargeable, and deposits are non-refundable.  If an event is cancelled within 2 weeks of the event, all monies are non-refundable.

Other cakes:  If you plan on offering any other desserts or cakes at your wedding, Sweet Cheeks must be advised ahead of time.   Our reputation has been built on carefully crafted, delicious cakes.  Protecting the Sweet Cheeks identity is a critical part of our success.  Accordingly, if other desserts are provided by individuals or companies other than Sweet Cheeks, we require that this information is made clear to the venue and your guests.

Damages:  Once the cake has been delivered and set up, Sweet Cheeks is no longer liable for any damages; and the care and condition of the cake becomes your responsibility. You are responsible for providing an appropriate and secure table and environment for the cake(s).   Cakes are heavy and require a sturdy table and optimal room temperature of 72 degrees or below.

Flowers, Ribbon or Pearls:  The flowers, ribbon and pearls shown on wedding cakes offer pictorial ideas of “enhanced” possibilities only and are not included in the price of the cake.  They should be chosen carefully with your florist as not all flowers and foliage are safe to place on an edible cake.  We prefer working with your florist so that the cake flowers match the other flowers being used in the wedding. Remember it’s your responsibility to remove pearls, flowers, and ribbons before the cake can be served to your guests.  Sweet Cheeks will not be responsible for anything non-edible added to your cake.

Cake Stands, Fountains, etc. Refundable fees providing all pillars, plates, cake boards, stands, etc are returned by the Wednesday after the wedding clean and undamaged. Any materials not returned by you or returned damaged will be deducted from the initial retainer and/or equipment deposit.

Pick-up: If you or your representative elects to pick up and set up the cake, a release form must be signed. You assume all liability and responsibility for the condition of the cake once it leaves our possession.

Delivery:  We strongly recommend cake delivery (as oppose to pick up) and we do so throughout the Triangle area.  Delivery and setup of your cake is a flat rate of $50 within Raleigh, Cary, Apex, Chapel Hill and Durham area.  If your reception location is outside of this area, your delivery fee will be provided to you at the time of your consultation. Deliveries requested after 5:00pm and on Sunday’s are subject to a minimum surcharge of $75.

Allergens:  Our products may contain or come into contact with milk, wheat, nuts, soy, and other allergens. You agree to notify your guests of this risk and hold us harmless for allergic reactions.
